**Ciri in copper.**
Of all the Witcher characters, Ciri is the hardest to pin down. Not visually — she's recognizable. Wild hair, sword, pointed ear, leather armor. But she's also the most layered: Lion Cub of Cintra, Child of Destiny, Elder Blood, half-elf, witcher-in-training who never finished training. Which version do you render?
The chibi format forces a decision. You don't have the scale for nuance. What you have is the silhouette, the pose, and the one detail that does all the work. In copper, that detail is the ear.
I didn't expect the pointed ear to matter this much. In the game it reads as part of the design. In copper drybrush, at chibi scale, it becomes the whole statement. Everything else could be a generic fighter. That ear is specifically Ciri.
The copper finish does what it always does — pulls out the relief, makes the leather armor look like it's been through something, gives the hair weight. But on Ciri it also adds something unexpected: warmth. Not the cold, otherworldly quality you'd expect from someone with Elder Blood. Warm, heraldic bronze. The Lion Cub version, not the something-more version.
Whether that's the right version is a different conversation.

**Ciri w miedzi.**
Ze wszystkich postaci Wiedźmina Ciri jest najtrudniejsza do uchwycenia. Nie wizualnie — jest rozpoznawalna. Dzikie włosy, miecz, spiczaste ucho, skórzana zbroja. Ale jest też najbardziej wielowarstwowa: Lwica z Cinty, Dziecko Niespodzianka, Starszą Krew, pół-elf, wiedźminka-w-trakcie-szkolenia-którego-nie-dokończyła. Którą wersję renderujesz?
Format chibi wymusza decyzję. Nie ma skali na niuanse. Masz sylwetkę, pozę i jeden detal, który robi całą robotę. W miedzi tym detalem jest ucho.
Nie spodziewałem się, że spiczaste ucho będzie aż tak ważne. W grze czyta się jako element designu. W postarzanej miedzi z drybrush, w skali chibi, staje się całym oświadczeniem. Wszystko inne mogłoby być generycznym wojownikiem. To ucho jest specyficznie Ciri.
Wykończenie miedziowe robi to, co zawsze — wyciąga relief, sprawia że skórzana zbroja wygląda jak coś, przez co się przeszło, daje włosom wagę. Ale na Ciri dodaje jeszcze coś nieoczekiwanego: ciepło. Nie tę zimną, innoświatową jakość, której oczekiwałbyś od kogoś ze Starszą Krwią. Ciepły, heraldyczny brąz. Wersja Lwicy z Cinty, nie wersja Czegoś-Więcej.
Czy to właściwa wersja — to już inna rozmowa.
